Despite the absence of lectures and finals for a while, not literally all students are enjoying their holidays in absolute peace. Behind the curtains, the new board of LCM SA has been busy preparing everything for the upcoming academic year. Nine students, with a phalanx of alumni-entourage behind them, took up the challenge to make our organization excel!
On a structural level, each of them bears the final responsibility in a specific domain. This way, LCM SA encourages peer-to-peer management and leadership, ensuring checks and balances and a unified vision.
Throughout the year LCM SA organizes a handful of public events. To ensure the success of each and one of them, we have appointed Stefanie as our manager for those happenings. Besides that, she will also take care of our Alumni Network, as it is emerging vastly.
The responsibilities concerning everything that is even slightly financial, are in safe hands with Shani. As an Economics student, our accounts could not be better managed than by her, for they are not to be underestimated.
Ewout has become a fixed value of LCM SA. As formal (and last) president of our organization, his main focus and last contribution will be the content assembly and roll out of all our workshops. He will be managing the personal feedback program as well as the training of new lecturers.
The one and only spokesperson for collaborations with other student organizations is from now on Jeff!
After several successful joint ventures in the past, Jeff is going to lay out the ground work for even bigger projects this year. We have some new refreshing concepts in the pipeline!
(...) Their core business will be to ensure that each member feels home in our precious association. They will be managing all our members, and all activities and opportunities that go with it.
To ensure that each student in Leuven (and beyond) is aware of our projects and opportunities, we need to market attractively.
The management of all external communication and the writing of all editorials and newsletters, will be done under the management of Arto this year.
After successfully landing the Business Games last year with Capitant Leuven, David is up to an even bigger challenge: this year he will be the director of our public relations and our comprised Competition Track!
